1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences, for example your cookie choices, and help us understand how the website is used. Similar technologies, such as scripts and pixels, work in a comparable way; in this policy we call them all “cookies”.

Cookies can be session cookies, which are deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period. First-party cookies are set by our website; third-party cookies are set by another service, such as Google.
